Updated MRT Results, and the Official Round 2 Health Protocol

Yesterday I officially started my newest health protocol, so I thought it was about time for an update post! It’s fun stuff following along with this topsy turvy ride I call my “health protocol”, don’t ya think? If you’re interested in reading the earlier installments of this series, you can read part 1 here, part 2 here, part 3 here, part 4 here, and part 5 here. I can’t believe we are already on part 6! In my last update, I explained that I decided to start from scratch with everything. It was very frustrating to have to start over after being so…

All About Candida Overgrowth

I have been getting a ton of questions about Candida overgrowth recently, and since I’m currently on another Candida protocol, I thought it only made sense to write a full blog post about it. Candida is so familiar to me that quite honestly, I forget that not everyone immediately knows what I’m talking about when I mention Candida! When I first began my mission to restore my health a few years ago, Candida overgrowth was the first thing I was ever “diagnosed” with. I went on a strict protocol that resulted in an extremely strong die-off reaction, but eventually made…

How to Make Your Workouts More Efficient

I used to feel like the length of my workout indicated its quality. Looking back, all I can do is shake my head at that idea. I could’ve gotten better results and had way more free time for other things if I had shortened my workouts and just been more efficient. It took me far too long to recognize that you can do a kickass workout in a pretty short amount of time. I’m not sure who started the idea that the ideal time for a workout is an hour, but that’s extremely arbitrary and untrue. As I’ve said many times, I think way…

Starting from Scratch with My Health Protocol

I used to think that I would have nothing to write about in my health protocol updates, but turns out there has actually been a lot to keep you updated on! That might seem like a bad thing, because it means complications are coming up. But it does make these posts a bit more exciting, so that’s the upside. In my last health update, I explained that a lot of my old symptoms had returned, and we suspected hydrogen sulfide SIBO might be the cause. I decided to go on a low-sulfur diet for a week or so to give my body…

How Relationships Can Help You Find Food & Body Freedom

I think most people, if not everyone, struggles with poor body image at some point. Feeling self-conscious, alone, and trapped, whether that be just for a moment or for a long period of time. Hyper-aware of how they look, and limiting their lives because of a lack of self-confidence. Similarly, disordered eating habits and thoughts seem to be all too common nowadays. Eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, and orthorexia are all on the rise. But even if someone doesn’t have an “official” eating disorder, it seems like almost everyone struggles with some version of disordered eating. That might be undereating,…
