My 2016 Favorites

It’s already a week into 2017…how do you feel about it? It’s still weird to me. I don’t like writing that 7, to be honest. I’ll get used to it, though. It seems like everyone was complaining about 2016, calling it the worst year ever. I think that’s a bit dramatic. Personally, 2016 was a great year for me. I accomplished a lot, grew a lot as a person, and found a lot of new obsessions. I want to close out my 2016/2017 transition blog series with a roundup of my absolute faves from 2016. Holiday Gift Guide for HIM, 2016

“It’s so hard to shop for guys.” I hear this constantly during the holidays. I think that we think it’s hard to shop for guys, but the truth is, it’s not really. Even though winter doesn’t technically start until the end of December, I always pretend that the shift from Thanksgiving to Christmas is the same as the shift from fall to winter. I mean, it feels like it, right? One of my favorite ways to make that shift is by switching up my wardrobe! This is one of the few times a year I allow myself to splurge. I…

Oh, fall. I’ll be honest, I love winter more…BUT I’M STILL OBSESSED WITH AUTUMN. If you’re not basic and aren’t a fan of fall, then get ready…you’re about to be. Fall and winter are the most magical times of the year. The holidays are around the corner and there are a lot of seasonal traditions to partake in. So much to do, so little time! But sometimes it’s easy to get wrapped up in our daily routines and skimp on the fall activities. If you wanna feel the fall magic though, you’re gonna have to set aside time to do some fall things.…
