Microneedling and the Dermaroller for Acne Scars and Pigmentation

When it comes to evening out my skin tone and getting rid of my acne scars, I feel like I’ve tried everything under the sun. I’ve easily wasted thousands of dollars on products and treatments, generally left feeling hopeless and frustrated. I’ve tried masks, serums, chemical peels, lasers, and everything in between. I struggled with cystic acne for years, and although I got rid of it, it did leave me with pigmentation and acne scars that really bothered me. So, typical me – I spent years of my life researching “how to get rid of acne scars” and tried almost every single…

My Experience with Cryotherapy & Cryo Facials

Cryotherapy. Cold magic? Maybe. Cryotherapy has been the very cool thing to do lately (pun intended), and it seems to be popping up everywhere. I had my first cryotherapy session as a surprise birthday present from Jordan last week, and after posting about it on social media and in my birthday blog post, I received a ton of questions about cryo. On Throwing Away My Toxic Makeup

This week was emotional. At first it was sad, but then it was freeing. So, so freeing. I felt like I was basically waiting for graduation to really take a moment and pull my life together. I finished my last final, and I thought, OK. Let’s do this.  The first step to pulling everything together was some major spring cleaning. Fun fact about me: I’m kind of a hoarder. Not a real hoarder, but I have A LOT of belongings. Random, useless belongings. I save things unnecessarily. I have too many clothing items, too much makeup, too many books… just too many random…

My 2016 Favorites

It’s already a week into 2017…how do you feel about it? It’s still weird to me. I don’t like writing that 7, to be honest. I’ll get used to it, though. It seems like everyone was complaining about 2016, calling it the worst year ever. I think that’s a bit dramatic. Personally, 2016 was a great year for me. I accomplished a lot, grew a lot as a person, and found a lot of new obsessions. I want to close out my 2016/2017 transition blog series with a roundup of my absolute faves from 2016. While many of these were released…
